Oil paintings of wildlife unlike any others by this dedicated artist. She has a series of big cats on the endangered species list which is available in limited edition on-line. The series, “The Wait List”, features uniquely her style of “picture-within-a-picture” story insets and borders which captures the feeling of urgency to the plight of these magnificent animals.
Additionally, there is a further series of paintings identified as “The Endangered Species”. They are a thought provoking glimpse at the big cats, their offspring and other wildlife species currently on the verge of extinction. A number of these paintings are also available in lithograph in limited edition, which can be viewed on her website.
A versatile artisan, she has been developing her craft since childhood, with subject matter covering a broad spectrum including exquisite landscapes, seascapes, wildlife and portraiture.
She trained under Bonnie Simpson, a Fine Arts Master, at Cypress College. With this guidance, her artistic expression was expanded in working with form, line and color and has also learned to be a true observer. She has been a featured artist in the College’s Gallery, The Community Gallery, Nixon Library and several one-woman shows.
Pat is currently President of the Cypress Art League and a Master Class member. The Club’s focus is to promote the arts and grant scholarships to deserving students.
The recipient of numerous awards, her works have been displayed and sold in various galleries throughout Southern California and has sold nationally.
